Sharing your work

Upload only presets you created or have permission to share. Keep copyrighted recordings, personal information, offensive content and executable files out of uploads. Artist references describe inspiration; they do not imply endorsement.

By publishing, you allow Obscura Sound to store, display and distribute your preset. You allow other users to download the preset, use its sound in personal or commercial music, and adapt and reshare the preset here with credit. You retain ownership. This permission does not allow selling your preset file. Previously downloaded copies cannot be recalled when you unpublish.

Community participation

Give useful musical feedback. Credit creators when adapting their work. Preset uploads are checked automatically and publish when they pass file validation. Comments and reports are reviewed; moderators may remove content or suspend accounts. Studio collections are labeled. Likes and downloads reflect recorded activity, not endorsements or verified installations.

Your information

Your display name, username, bio, published presets and approved comments are public. Your email and account security information are private. Essential session cookies keep you signed in and protect forms. The service stores uploads, moderation history and basic operational logs; there are no advertising trackers in this community application.

You can edit your profile, unpublish sounds, remove comments, and export your account data from My Archive. Account deletion removes personal profile information and unpublishes contributions; records needed to address abuse may be retained with restricted access.

Compatibility

Presets require the matching instrument with community preset support. They are settings, not plug-in installers. Check each sound's compatibility information and retain a copy of your current session before experimenting.
